Customer Service-Don’t Be Afraid To Go Above And Beyond!

"Loyalty" is a word that you don’t hear often, and rarely experience in today’s day and age. At Wrap-Aholic! we strive to do business with our customers whenever possible. One of our favorite clients is O’Reilly Automotive. We have been doing their vehicle wraps and graphics for years, and have grown very fond of the relationship that we share with them.

Kyle Jenkins, the owner of Wrap-Aholic! asks his employees to please buy all of their automotive supplies at O’Reilly. I even buy all of the parts that I need from them when my truck is in the shop getting repaired, to make sure that O’Reilly gets my parts business. Tom and Barbara Kelley at Kelley’s First Choice Automotive know that it cuts into their profits when I buy my own parts, but they humor me because they appreciate my loyalty.

Last Friday I went to my favorite O’Reilly Auto Parts store. It’s the one on the corner of Chestnut Expressway and Glenstone Ave. They are a happy, knowledgeable, and silly bunch of guys working there, and they always know me by name. I recently bought a mountain bike, and needed a receiver hitch for my 2013 Hyundai Veloster so that I can add a bike rack. I saw one on Amazon.com, but I wanted to buy from O’Reilly! The gentleman at the counter, Phillip, looked in his catalog and could not find the part. Then he called the warehouse. They could not find that they had the hitch for my particular vehicle. I told him that it was on Amazon.com, and he asked me who the manufacturer was. I told him and he called the warehouse again. Then Phillip tried to see if O’Reilly Automotive could order it for me on Amazon.com and possibly save me some money. He found out that they could not. In 10 minutes, Phillip tried in every possible way to help me. He literally exhausted every effort. I bought some car wax that I needed and one of my favorite O’Reilly employees named Dennis upsold me on the Meguiars paste. I am so glad because my wrapped car (photo above) now looks amazing. (Yes, we encourage you to wax your vehicle wrap)

Phillip at O’Reilly Automotive is a stellar employee. If all employees were so diligent, businesses would never fail. How are your employees treating your customers? Do you ever hire a shopping service? Perhaps you should.

I have been working with Kyle and Wrap-Aholic! for over 3 years now. I named and branded his business for him when he wanted to change the name from Truck Sign Design to something more catchy, that would let the masses know how passionate his company is about vehicle wraps. I am proud of the quality of the vehicle wraps and graphics, and the character of the employees. It makes my publicist job easy when I know that every customer will be THRILLED for choosing Wrap-Aholic! You can throw a rock and hit a sign company, but you would be hard pressed to find one that comes close to the high quality and integrity of Wrap-Aholic! We’d like to think that we are the “O’Reilly Automotive” of Vehicle Wraps and Graphics. And based on my recent and continued experiences with O'Reilly Automotive, that is very high praise.

Be "stellar," and surround yourself with greatness.

Jennifer Reisch

Why would anyone want to wrap their vehicle? Why would anyone NOT want to?

FACT: "ONE wrapped truck out on service calls all day makes it seem as if you've got five or more out there running," ~ Jenny Reisch, Marketing Director for Wrap-Aholic. "

There's a saying in the wrap industry that one equals five.

People will think that you have a whole fleet because one properly designed wrap is moving around so much!

To get the most bang for your truck or  marketing buck, follow this advice:

Consider color. "Most vehicles are stock white, which means most of your competitors will start off with stock white trucks. Also, other trades utilize the same types of service vehicles, so they'll all have stock white, too. To break out of that sea of white service trucks you see on the road, simply using a solid color could make you stand out. Any logos or wrappings added to that are gravy."

While a bright color or exciting pattern may catch the customer's eye, there can be too much of a good thing. "Be sure your information is readable. That's paramount. Our design team specializes in effective design that POPS off the surface of your vehicle.

A good design is integral to a successful vehicle wrap. Working with your customer is key in ultimately creating the customer’s end-result. Wrap-Aholic!, a large format printing company that specializes in fleet and marine wraps, works closely with their customers from start to finish.

Wrap-Aholic! continues to set the standard in the vehicle wrap industry. Please call us so that we may assist you in taking your business to the next level, and the next, and the next. Do you see where I am going with this?

How much fun are you NOT having in your career?

“Work is a four letter word, and a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.”

Really? Is this what we are conditioned to believe? Or were these things written by someone who is just really unbelievably bad at their job?

I have often said that it is impossible to hate something that you are good at in this world. I mean I HATE rollerblading. I seriously despise it. I have never really spent the time to become accomplished in rollerblading. As a result I fall on my rear end, on my front end, skin my knees, and seriously fear my own death as the result of a tragic rollerblading accident.

If I were to practice and take the time daily, I would most likely be able to accomplish amazing rollerblading tricks on large wooden ramps in a year or so. I don’t really want that, but I could make it happen. As a result, I would look you in the eye and say, “Oh my gosh…I LOVE rollerblading!”

How often do we take the part of our career that we hate the MOST, and really focus on getting good in that area? How many months and years and repeated failures do we have on our emotional resume’ because we never took the time to become accomplished at something about our job that we hate? Guess what? We hate it because we have never dedicated the time not only to becoming adept in that area, but becoming REALLY good!

There is always that guy or gal at the office that repeatedly kicks everyone's butt in sales or performance. They appear to effortlessly coast through the day with pixie dust sprinkling their every move. We sometimes hate them. But everyone knows that we resent them for being able to do what we cannot…or HAVE NOT done. At some point in time, Joe or Josephine Pixiedust put in the time, the effort, and the conviction that it took to become good at what they do. Then it became a habit. So it was not effortless, and they never made a pact with Satan. They built a foundation, and now the upkeep is habitual. We need to emulate…not hate.

The most honest thing we can do with ourselves is to pinpoint what we do not like about our career and CHANGE it to something at which we excel. Dedicate the time to that part of your existence, and see what happens.

The best part of my job is hearing my Wrap-Aholic! vehicle wrap installers and designers tell me how much they LOVE their job!

We all know what THAT means.

When it comes to your business, how badly do you want to succeed?

Wrap-Aholic! Vehicle Wraps are quite possibly the best known way to brand your business in the history of advertising. If I took every client that I have ever had, and added up the amount of money that they have invested in magazine and newspaper advertising, I would get sick. In Southwest Missouri, your vehicle wrap or graphics will receive 8.5 MILLION views per year in a city of only 50,000 people. If you are in a city of 300,000 that amounts to 32 MILLION views per year! If you park your vehicle in a highly visible parking spot every time you go shopping, you can add even MORE to that sizable number. Ask yourself, "What is the shelf-life of my advertising dollar?" A five year Wrap-Aholic! vehicle wrap with a cost of 3000.00 will cost you 50.00 per month. You will reach 8.5 million people for only 600.00 per year! Vehicle wraps are the most effective way to build your business. I have worked in Advertising for over 20 years. The only advertising that I have ever found where a client NEVER tells me that they are not sure if its working or not, is vehicle wraps.

It’s funny to hear someone tell me that they won't put their business name or logo on their vehicle. They are afraid that they will drive aggressively, and that their business name will be viewable after they cut somebody off, or even flip somebody off in traffic. C’mon…REALLY?

Here is the black and white truth:

Your business is your livelihood. It's your kids college fund. It's your retirement. You can take it seriously enough to go the distance with vehicle advertising (yes, I wrap ALL my vehicles, and even wrapped my BMW in 2010), or you can sit back and let your competitors steal your market share with vehicle graphics, or a vehicle wrap. It’s up to you.

The other day I was at a stop light, and I let two cars out into traffic from a parking lot where they were waiting to merge. One of them called me from their cell and said thank you. You see, my phone number is included on my vehicle wrap. I’m not worried about who I might offend in traffic. I am conscious of who I might impress. I branded myself right then and there.

And you might like to know that Wrap-Aholic! has the best "Award Winning" designers, uses only the highest grade vehicle wrap materials, and services clients such as O'Reilly Automotive and Bass Pro Shops. You have probably see the NASCAR trailers that we completed for them in 2012.
